Grimaldi’s Pizza Review 

This week I reviewed pizza from Grimaldi’s and was not disappointed. I got a large pepperoni pizza for the sake of seeing how their toppings were, as well as the quality of the pizza. I had been to Grimaldi’s before and I knew it was good pizza but going back for a blog made me pay attention to things I had not before.  

 

Service: Let’s start with the service of the restaurant. I thought the overall service of the restaurant was very good. We sat down and got served right away. We also didn’t wait long for our drinks and food. Our pizza took about 15 minutes which I thought was very reasonable. The waitress was very nice and kept our drinks refilled. When she brought out the pizza, she served us each our first slices and then kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything. All in all, I thought the service there was exceptionally good.  

 

Toppings: Now on to the toppings. The pepperoni on the pizza was small but to make up for that there was a lot of it. The pepperoni was good and stayed on the pizza well. The cheese on the pizza was amazing. It didn’t slide off the pizza like the cheese on most other pizzas would. The only thing about the toppings I would do different would be to spread the sauce out a little more to make it more even across the whole pizza. I say this because some spots of the pizza had more sauce than others. Sometimes, I would bite into the pizza and feel as if I was only getting sauce and other times it would be totally fine. But that was probably the only problem I had with the toppings on the pizza.  

 

Crust: The crust on the pizza was good as well. I thought that it was a little well done, but the style of Grimaldi’s pizza is coal fired, so it was normal for it to be a little well done. I enjoyed the crust and felt like it tied the whole pizza together. It is not my favorite crust, but it really works for the style pizza Grimaldi’s is going for. So, if I could change the crust I probably wouldn’t because of the way it fits with the rest of the pizza. 

 

Grimaldi’s pizza is a very good and very recommended pizza in my opinion. I absolutely love this pizza, plus it makes really good leftovers, if you have extra to take home.  I would go back and get more pizza from Grimaldi’s and I could eat about half of their large pizza in one sitting, because of how good it is. You should definitely try Grimaldi’s if you ever see one. You will not be disappointed.
